Job Position Description

Ratehawk is part of Emerging Travel Group, a travel-tech company that also operates the brands ZenHotels and Roundtrip across more than 220 markets worldwide. The company's mission is to design, distribute and run convenient travel products by constantly innovating and simplifying the complex travel industry for individuals and professionals.

We are looking for a Junior Account Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with clients and strengthening our presence on the local market. This is a remote vacancy open to candidates residing in India. (Job posting metadata: Toscana, Italia.)

Responsibilities

  • Expand and consolidate the company's presence within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with signed partners (tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, OTAs) to improve their performance.
  • Work with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities in the territory.
  • Follow up with existing and new partners to provide system training.
  • Handle incident management and ensure partner support.
  • Payments control: oversee and ensure accuracy in transaction processing.
  • Prepare market and competitive environment analyses.
  • Produce regular, comprehensive reporting via CRM and internal systems.

Key qualifications

  • Relevant experience, ideally around 1 year in the travel industry and excellent knowledge of the local travel market.
  • Background in account management or business development within B2B travel companies.
  • Personal traits: proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused and a strong team player attitude.
  • Analytical mindset: comfortable with data-driven decision making and metrics.
  • International mindset: ability to work across diverse cultural contexts.
  • Readiness for business travel: 10–20% of working time may be required for market visits.

Requirements

Ideally ~1 year of experience in the travel industry with strong knowledge of the local market; experience in account management or B2B business development; data-driven and metrics-oriented; comfortable working in fast-changing environments; able to travel 10–20%; must reside in India (remote role).
