Job Position Description

Overview

You will join the Accounting & Regulatory Reporting Department and be responsible for managing MAS regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with the Banking Act and relevant MAS Notices to Banks. You will coordinate annual statutory reporting, prepare branch tax computations and FATCA/CRS submissions, and act as a point of contact with auditors and tax consultants. In addition, you will support Head Office management reporting, contribute to exception remediation and automation/process improvement initiatives, and participate in month-end close activities, serving as reviewer for key reconciliations, GST items, audit confirmations and AP entries.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, review and submit daily MAS reports and regulatory returns;
  • Perform variance analysis and resolve queries from regulators, business units and support functions;
  • Coordinate annual statutory disclosures and prepare branch tax computations to support Head Office tax requests;
  • Submit FATCA/CRS filings and liaise with auditors and tax consultants on any related queries;
  • Prepare Head Office management reporting and respond to ad-hoc management information requests, ensuring adherence to operational guides and local regulations;
  • Represent Accounting in cross-department projects and take part in the month-end close process;
  • Act as reviewer for AP entries, Corona reconciliations, GST items and audit confirmations.

Profile & requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Degree in Accounting or comparable qualification; ACCA or equivalent professional accounting certification;
  • Strong skills in Excel and knowledge of automation/process improvement tools;
  • Solid familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and core accounting activities;
  • High proficiency in English.

Requirements

3-5 years in a similar role; Accounting degree and ACCA or equivalent; strong Excel and automation/process knowledge; familiarity with regulatory reporting and accounting tasks; high proficiency in English.
