Job Position Description
HBK (Hill, Barth & King LLC) is expanding: a Top 50 accounting firm and a Top 100 registered investment advisor with hundreds of professionals serving small and mid-size business owners. We seek a senior leader to join the firm as a regional director overseeing business valuation and litigation support.
Role summary: You will lead valuation and litigation support engagements originating from the South Florida market, supervise and mentor analysts and managers to ensure timely delivery, manage the office profit & loss, cultivate referral relationships, and act as the valuation expert for HBK accounting and wealth teams in the region. You will also coordinate with other regional valuation directors to grow the practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business valuation.
- Must hold one or more recognized valuation credentials (CFA, CVA, ASA, or ABV).
- Litigation and forensic support experience is preferred.
- Strong research ability and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly analytical, able to work independently and within teams.
Key responsibilities
- Drive business development and manage valuation and litigation support projects from the South Florida market (including HBK offices in Sarasota, Fort Myers, Naples, Stuart, and West Palm Beach).
- Oversee, mentor and ensure timely completion of projects by analysts and managers.
- Manage the office P&L and support growth of referral sources in the region.
- Serve as valuation resource for HBK accounting and wealth management teams across Florida.
- Collaborate with other valuation regional directors to expand the practice.
